This mini-kard was forged from the “slug” left over when I punch a hole in an ingot. In the past I have forged these out into mini-chakrams, but in this case I went with a mini-kard. The difference in solidification between the bottom and top of the ingot is what caused the very different patterning on the two faces of the blade. The tip of the blade has not been thinned so would still make a robust stabbing point. This bare blade is not currently sharpened, but can be delivered sharpened if desired.
