This large chef knife is forged from my own 15n20/1080 damascus steel and features a forged full-tang construction with stabilized curly koa scales. Domed brass pins, faceted scales, and the slightly proud tang provide excellent registration without creating hot spots that might become uncomfortable with extended use.
